Reformating selected templates[edit]

I have initiated a discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television#Reformating_Emmy_Awards_episodic_Directing_and_Writing_templates regarding reformatting {{EmmyAward ComedyDirector}}, {{EmmyAward DirectingDrama}}, {{EmmyAward DramaWriting}} and {{EmmyAward ComedyWriting}}. The intention is to make them look more like {{WritersGuildofAmericaEpisodicDramaScreenplay}}, {{WritersGuildofAmericaEpisodicComedyScreenplay}}, {{DirectorsGuildofAmericaOutstandingDirectingDramaSeries}} and {{DirectorsGuildofAmericaOutstandingDirectingComedySeries}} in hopes of encouraging editors to work on the most critically acclaimed episodes and highlight the most critically acclaimed episodes for the readers.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 06:24, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Brain Salad Surgery[edit]

This template says that in 1998 the award was split between Mark Tinker for Pilot (Brooklyn South) and Paris Barclay for Brain Salad Surgery. Barclay's own wikipedia page does not indicate he won an Emmy for that, and the one IMDB result for a tv episode by that name was one that aired in 1997 on Chicago Hope, directed by Chris D'Elia.
