Westchester ➔ Bronx in the Infobox.

[edit]

Westchester County was never a part of New York City. Some of the towns of Westchester county were transferred to New York County. Later on, more towns from Westchester decided to join New York City and they were incorporated as Bronx County (along with the ones that were originally reassigned to New York county). So my suggestion is that Westchester county be removed from the infobox, and replaced with Bronx county. HugoHelp (talk) 21:04, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Bronx County" would be an anachronism, since the town in question stopped existing up to 40 years before the county was formed. I've changed the template to just refer to boroughs, which is more friendly to readers, anyway. Fitnr 15:50, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
