Date parameter

[edit]

It would be useful if this template (and the delisted GA template) contained a parameter for the date, so that the date that the article was listed (or delisted) as a nominee could be displayed in the template. Saves having to trawl through the edit history when determining how long ago the events happened. Anyone?  -- Run!  12:34, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea - I've just added bits to GA review templates so that they automatically add the date of the review/delisting. Worldtraveller 14:13, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it's working. It just adds the text Nomination date: {{subst:CURRENTDAY}} {{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}} to the template.  -- Run!  21:17, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I've gone ahead and added one that works. It's not as sophisticated as what you were trying to do (it isn't automatic) but it will suffice.  -- Run!  11:45, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I worked out what was wrong with mine, but I think it would have added today's date to all previous uses of the template. Your way is better! Worldtraveller 12:02, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GAnominee

[edit]

What are the chances of getting this template renamed to "GACandidate"? For project-wide consistency, "GAC" needs to be used throughout the project. Confusion causes issues, particularly in the implementation of templates. Lara♥Love 19:40, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bolding

[edit]

I feel it looks better if you bold the word "candidate" after "good article" because it then seems like a more unified contstruct. Any opinions about this? Daimanta 12:49, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
