I have moved Proto-Norse from reconstructed languages, because it is attested in many runic inscriptions and should count as a historic language.--Berig (talk) 10:17, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why are some language subgroups italicized?

[edit]

The relationship between the two lines in Language subgroups is not clear. Some words that appear in the first line are reused in the second line without a link, and the entire second line is italicized.

Things like this should be explained in the template, either by subheaders on the left or a footnote on the last line of the template. I suppose if the explanation isn't too long it could be in parentheses after the word or the line to which it applies.

Sorry all I can do is point things out, but my real-life limitations get in the way of doing any more and I might not make it back here. Thanks in advance if you can work on this! — Geekdiva (talk) 01:05, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
