Usage

[edit]

This is simply a template for providing a simple introduction to Atlantic hurricane season articles.

{{Hurricane season single|2004}}.
{{Hurricane season decade|1800}}
{{Hurricane season 2decade|1680|1690}}
{{Hurricane season multi|1492|1524}}.
  • Single: one year, e.g., "2004"
  • Decade: one decade, e.g., "1800" meaning the 1800s.
  • 2decade: two decades, e.g., "1680|1690" meaning the 1680s and 1690s (1680-1699).
  • Multi: a simple year span, e.g., "1492|1524" meaning 1492-1524.

All except "single" are intended to be used with older seasons and have a disclaimer about incomplete records.

Discussion
