name of the language

Franco-Provençal is the established English-language name. This English-language Wikipedia uses English names of languages; e.g., the Icelandic template says Icelandic, not íslenska.

The Ethnologue site lists this language as Franco-Provençal, with Arpitan and Patois as alternate names. SIL International, which maintains Ethnologue, is the ISO's Registration Authority for Standard 639-3:2007. --Thnidu (talk) 20:50, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
