Image facility[edit]

Great idea, can it be modified to include an image and caption facility? Cheers Nimbus (talk) 20:36, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In reference to the Stentor? I'll probably get round to it on Monday. Is that the Cosford Stentor? Andy Dingley (talk) 11:35, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Midland Air Museum. There are some other rocket engine articles that have images outside the infobox. Cheers Nimbus (talk) 13:02, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've hacked on it a lot, it's not perfect but the image works, although the size is currently fixed to thumb.- (User) Wolfkeeper (Talk) 05:46, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

added a whole bunch of options[edit]

There's now sea level and vacuum Isp, sea level and vacuum thrust, thrust/weight ratio, nozzle ratio, chamber pressure, an image and caption, and maybe some others. It also still needs a references.

unfortunately I haven't updated the docs... I'll try to come back to do this later otherwise someone will have to work out what i did from diffs.- (User) Wolfkeeper (Talk) 05:50, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could you add a "gimbal", "restarts" and "throttle"? The latter two would only apply to liquid, hybrid and monopropellant.- (Baldusi) Baldusi (Talk) 12:55, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Added. "Gimbal range" becomes "Thrust vectoring" for solid and hybrid motors, "restarts" and "throttle" added to templates for liquid, hybrid and monopropellant.A(Ch) 04:44, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Use of Associated L/V and Used in[edit]

These seems the same or almost the same?

I could see for Draco_(rocket_engine_family) that Associated L/V would be Falcon 9 and used in be Dragon_(spacecraft) was this sort of use the intention? Or is one prefered for some reason?

For stage engines like Vulcain should they have the Ariane_5 as Associated L/V, Used in or both?

"Vaccum"[edit]

All the pages that use this template have the typo "Thrust (vaccum)". It doesn't seem to be in the template itself, but I don't know how to fix it. Anyone?

Fixed. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 08:06, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
