Why are \oint \oiint \oiint used for both non-oriented and clockwise-oriented integral symbols?[edit]

\oiint is the non-oriented double closed integral (with elongated circle)
\varoiint is the non-oriented double closed integral (with perfect circle)
\ointctrclockwise (with perfect circle, upwards arrow on right side)
\ointclockwise (with perfect circle, upwards arrow on left side)
\varointclockwise (with perfect circle, downwards arrow on right side)
\varointctrclockwise (with perfect circle, downwards arrow on left side)
