Documentation please[edit]

Izumi5 created this template in November 2006, edited it one more time in December 2006, and hasn't contributed to Wikipedia since December 2013. This is too bad, as the documentation is sketchy. As an example of missing guidance, if the template is used directly, how is the table supposed to be closed? When writing template documentation, remember that you need to provide guidance to users who are debugging pages, for example, removing lint errors, and come across the template and have no idea about anything. —Anomalocaris (talk) 21:34, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure about what to do with this template, now just a mere header for wikitables. While it is yet in Japan railway line template category, Template:jpf (or Template:Ja-platform) seems to be more decent. Is it possible that this template is replaced with Template:jpf gradually?
