Redirect[edit]

Shouldn't the link be to Latin rather than Latin language? ·ΚΕΚΡΩΨ· (talk) 10:50, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What he said. Please and thankyou :) -- Quiddity (talk) 19:04, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That link isn't in this template as far as I can see. I imagine it's an automatic thing so, considering it redirects tot he correct name, you might just have to put up with it. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 09:48, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Doh, thanks. I've now asked at Template talk:LangWithName#Not using a "language" suffix redirects, the underlying template. -- Quiddity (talk) 17:27, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This is still an issue. NoToleranceForIntolerance (talk) 22:48, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request on 2 July 2012[edit]

Red link category[edit]

Why does this parameter leave a red link category as in Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Pretoria? JMK (talk) 07:56, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Someone please fix lit parameter[edit]

@Andy M. Wang: The one at {{lang-he}} works, as an example. This one does nothing. Deus vult (aliquid)! Crusadestudent (talk) 04:23, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Done — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 04:26, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Andy M. Wang: Thanks, but if the link param is set to no, the lit param won't work for some reason. Deus vult (aliquid)! Crusadestudent (talk) 04:30, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Crusadestudent: That's an interesting side effect. Then every template that uses the backing template {{Language with name}} has that issue. I believe {{Lang-fr}} has that issue as well, then. You're essentially making an edit request on that backing template. — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 04:33, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Andy M. Wang: Hmm... well, it seems that it's only a problem when you're in the visual editor. If you leave the param alone and save, it shows up properly in the read-only view. Weird. Deus vult (aliquid)! Crusadestudent (talk) 04:34, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
