Immanuelle Please don't bring everything from Simple English wikipedia to Regular English wikipedia because there's a custom of keeping the 2 wikis separate and unique even though both are in English language. To differentiate and make the 2 wikis unique, I prepare the templates as well as the articles in different ways. Otherwise, it would become copy and paste. You can also take suggestions from experienced editors like User:Auntof6 and User:Ferien who are active at both the wikis for many years. --Haoreima (talk) 08:47, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima: Could you be specific about which templates you made different? On Simple, we actually try to keep the templates the same as on here on en as much as possible. The language in the articles definitely needs to be simpler on Simple, but it's different with the templates. And remember, copy and paste is OK if it's appropriate for both places. -- Auntof6 (talk) 09:01, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Auntof6 We're talking about the two templates that Immanuel is asking which one is better. I think copy and paste is not ok in case if we are to find many red links in the template, especially in regular English wikipedia. --Haoreima (talk) 09:05, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima: You're right that regular English Wikipedia is less tolerant of red links. Just keep in mind that on Simple, we occasionally refresh our templates from what's here on en, so any differences might disappear. -- Auntof6 (talk) 09:08, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
