Huge thanks to Scottalter for his work on the template. Kether83 (talk) 13:17, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've created this as far as I can with just stealing bits from other rail pages - I have no idea how to create a split, so I can't diagram any further north - i.e. Chenango Forks north to both Syracuse and Utica. Can someone help with this by showing me where a guide for this diagram system is? I don't even know what it's called or where to look. Thanks. Kether83 (talk) 10:08, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Route diagram size[edit]

I know that diagrams like this are used for many transit system articles, but my main comment about using such a template for the NYSW article is the size. Having such a large diagram embedded in the article removes a lot of screen real-estate, and if any other images are present in the article, the layout becomes very cluttered. I am impressed by the work you put into it, though. I wonder if some kind of main "route" article could be created to contain the diagram and discussion of the route, with a standard "main article for NYSW route" link placed on the general page?
