Okay, having two years of the Cutlass Cruiser noted here really messes up the template. It needs to be fixed. Both the Vista Cruiser and Cutlass Cruiser were part of the Cutlass range. Do they need to be separated here? --Sable232 23:53, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Starfire and Jetstar

[edit]

Starfire and Jetstar should be added but there is currently no room. May I suggest a new full size row be created and a two row space consequently be inserted between 88 and 98? Then Custom Cruiser could be moved between them and room will still be available for Starfire and Jetfire in between. This makes sense from a price point of view as Custom Cruiser never cost more than 98 and it accomodates the missing series with the least amount of change. Submodels

[edit]

You can't have and Oldsmobile template without mentioning the Super 88, so I've added the 88's various denominations through the years. Although they were stand-alone models and not just trim packages, I've decided to omit the "submodels" used in the late 60s and 70s—the Royales, Customs and Regencies—as they add too much clutter to an already complex template. The American practice of having model denominations trickle down the lineup makes isn't template-friendly, see for example Template:Ford timeline. Anyway, since I've made a complete template, I'll leave it here for posterity.
