Caption[edit]

According to MoMA, the painting was created June 1889, is this or Sept. 1889 correct? Also, should we add its impact on culture? Vincent by Don McLean and Henri Dutilleux's "Timbres, Espace, Mouvement" were both inspired by this painting. --WillMak050389 19:23, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there's enough room. I try to keep the caption so that it doesn't extend beyond the top or bottom of the picture. howcheng {chat} 20:54, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have modified it to say "The Starry Night" instead of "this painting" as I felt there was some pronoun ambiguity (my edit summary was accidentally messed up). Do we have a definite date of the completion of the work? --WillMak050389 20:36, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
