Redesign

[edit]

I've redesigned the template in the sandbox to make the listing more concise and similar to what is used on templates like {{Elections in Alabama sidebar}}, which I think is a more reasonable design.

Thoughts? (if there are no objections, I'll implement this in a week or so) Elli (talk | contribs) 05:07, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I support the change as proposed. — Goszei (talk) 06:53, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I've made the update, given the lack of objections. Elli (talk | contribs) 16:53, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please insert |class={{{class|}}} after |sizedefault=frameless to allow upper templates to set a class for the image (particularly the newly-introduced "notpageimage" class, which removes the image from the list of page images). See below for the resulting template source.

Template:Politics sidebar title
<includeonly><div class="adr">[[Politics of {{{link|{{{title}}}}}}|Politics of {{{title}}}]]</div></th></tr>{{#if:{{{image|}}}
|<tr><th>{{#invoke:InfoboxImage|InfoboxImage|image={{{image|}}}|size={{{size|}}}|sizedefault=frameless|class={{{class|}}}|alt={{{alt|}}}|border={{#switch:{{{border|}}}|y|yes|Y|Yes|YES=yes|#default=no}}}}</th></tr>
}}<tr><th style="border-bottom: #aaa {{#if:{{{separator-width|}}}|{{{separator-width}}}|1px}} solid"></includeonly><noinclude>
{{documentation}}</noinclude>
