Alternative names in general fiction: split/move?[edit]

This template's language indicates it should be only used in case of comic book characters' alternative names. However, more general Rcats redirect to this one, such as {{R from alternative character}} or {{R from alter ego}}. I believe there are redirects to non-comics fictional characters from their alternative names, which would benefit from categorisation in a similar fashion as redirects of comics characters. Examples include: Hannah Montana (character), Sheik (Legend of Zelda), 007, Ganondorf, Anakin Skywalker, Sméagol, Tom Marvolo Riddle, Mr. Hyde. As alter egos are omnipresent in comics, I don't think it would be wise to pollute Category:Comics redirects from alternative names with other fictional alter egos; I propose to create a separate Rcat for alter egos, alternative character names etc. in other (non-comics) fiction. —Biexx (talk) 11:17, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I came here for the same exact reason. All comic book based TV series have this issue. Take for example the Arrowverse TV series Arrow (TV series), The Flash (2014 TV series), Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl (TV series) - all these have this issue. --Gonnym (talk) 11:09, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
