Suggestion: simplify wordings for Symphony & Concerto

[edit]

Perhaps there is not much need to specify symphony and concertos again for numbered works in each individual entry when they are already in the category? What I'm trying to suggest in mind would look like the following:

Symphonies | No. 1 in D minor • No. 2 in E minor • No. 3 in A minor • The Bells (choral symphony) • Youth Symphony
Piano Concertos | No. 1 in F♯ minor • No. 2 in C minor • No. 3 in D minor • No. 4 in G minor • Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini

@AbelCheung: Thank you for your comments - and suggestion - I understand - however - fwiw - my preference would be the original presentation atm - seems a more familiar style for many I would think - nonetheless, I would be interested in the views of other editors if possible - hope this helps in some way - Thanks again for your comments and suggestion - and - Enjoy! :) Drbogdan (talk) 23:04, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Youth"

[edit]

There is a link in this Navbox, in the "Related" section, called "Youth". However, all it does is send you straight to the top of the Sergei Rachmaninoff page, which seems pretty redundant. Dave12121212 (talk) 01:37, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed it. Dave12121212 (talk) 01:52, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like a sound decision. Aza24 (talk) 08:18, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Concerto vs Concertante works? - Paganini Rhapsody

[edit]

Why not change the category from Concertos to Concertante? I would argue that most people associate the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini to be his "fifth" piano concerto, and to me it's a bit weird that the Rhapsody is in orchestral works rather than concertos.
