The current time in New York is 19:27 (EST)

Objection[edit]

Note that Eastern Standard Time is not a time zone. I don't want to get on my high horse and ask if anyone knows the difference between time and space, because I'm not Einstein; and neither was my grandfather. I daresay most people make this mistake. --Uncle Ed (talk) 21:47, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Examples and testing[edit]

Today is June 25, 2024

  • Daylight saving time began on the second Sunday in March.
  • Daylight saving time will end on the first Sunday in November.

That's using two other templates. --Uncle Ed (talk) 21:49, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
