Lingering pages with missing TZ names

[edit]

Pages such as PST8PDT and EST5EDT still exist and are presently rendering as broken templates, because these TZ names are not present in the TZ dictionary. Either these client pages should be deleted, or turned into redirects to official TZ names, or the TZ templates should be expanded to handle them. See also my comment at User talk:Hytar, a user who made *one* of the edits (slightly over a year ago) that removed some of the TZ names in question. See edit history of this page for more information about this specific attribution. — MaxEnt 00:29, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It just occurred to me to perform a "what links here" to find the remaining culprits. These are CST6CDT, EST5EDT, PST8PDT, and MST7MDT all from Canada/US. I just happened to find this because I'm personally in PST8PDT and DST is coming soon. — MaxEnt 00:33, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
