Unexplained edit[edit]

@Andrybak: could you please clarify the purpose of this edit? Because the way it has been done, it no longer categorises talk pages, which is the page it should be catergorising? (see Category:Pages in the Wikipedia Top 25 Report as an example) Or was this is a mistake? SSSB (talk) 09:36, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@SSSB, the purpose of Special:Diff/1226547158 was to add a parameter |nocat= to the template, which allows to suppress categorization which is normally done automatically by the template. Category suppression is useful when making tests and demos of the templates.
My edit contained a bug, which was fixed in Special:Diff/1226707256. —⁠andrybak (talk) 10:18, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
