Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it is easier to maintain Unicode charts if they are in a template rather than if they are hard-coded in an article. There are templates for all 214 Unicode blocks, and individual members of this set of templates should not be deleted without general discussion of all the templates. The unilateral removal of content from this template by Kwamikagami, and merging of the code charts from this template and Template:Unicode chart Meroitic Hieroglyphs into Meroitic alphabet should be reverted pending consensus on whether Unicode code charts should be maintained as templates or merged into the appropriate articles. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because the merge & blanking should be evaluated. Speedy does not give time for that. --DePiep (talk) 21:46, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Aha, above, BS already found time to motivate the contest. Indeed for maintenance and completeness reasons I would oppose deletion, also in a TfD procedure. -DePiep (talk) 21:49, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
