I strongly disagree with making it bilingual, because it implies that everyone "from Canada" speaks french. In response to User:Instantnood's edit summary [1]:

In my opinion, both userboxes (Template:User Canada and Template:User Japan) should be in english only, and users who speak French or Japanese should use WP:Babel boxes instead. Alternatively, create a forkbox for bilingual Canadians. heqs 08:29, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
