Weell, that's a little rude. Wouldn't a redirect be a bit less invasive? Adam McCormick 06:41, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why was I reverted? --Iamunknown 03:23, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mostly because there are a lot of people who use this template and it's much less invasive to have a redirect here not a "This template shoould be somewhere else." almost every other language uses this format so if nothing else this page should remain a redirect for uniformity's sake. The change was also not discussed or justified after the same change was reverted several weeks ago. Adam McCormick 06:06, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Where would you expect me to discuss the change? Are you aware of Wikipedia:Userbox migration? "People are periodically running bots that update people's userpages to point from the old location in template space to the new location in userspace" (WP:UM). --Iamunknown 06:17, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever. Do whatever you want. I have only become frustrated by this conversation and am unwilling to participate any further. --Iamunknown 06:29, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not that it matters now but the Userbox Migration is not a policy and in fasct is under serious criticism from the community on whole. As Jimbo himself has said he didn't [intend] to make any decree or rule regarding userboxes, their mass deletion or their migration to User space. The only consensus seems to be that User boxes should not be Inflamatory or show POV. You should not refuse to discuss something because someone cannot respond immediately, wikipedia lives or dies by consensus. Adam McCormick 15:48, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
