Difficulty in using this template for a Vimeo channel

[edit]

I wasn't able to use the template to cite this URL at Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/channels/1445603 . Easchiff (talk) 12:31, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You need to indicate within the template that you are linking to a channel: {{Vimeo|channel=1445603|Robert Nakamura Film}} provides this output: Robert Nakamura Film's channel on Vimeo -Gohst (talk) 01:10, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On Demand

[edit]

There needs to be an "On Demand" parameter added to this template. Something like "OD=yes" (it would default to "no" if not included). If the parameter is set to "yes" then it should add "/ondemand" to the URL between the domain and the ID.

Example as it stands: {{vimeo|worldoftomorrow|World of Tomorrow}} produces this result: World of Tomorrow on Vimeo ...which is a non-working link.

A better formatting would be: {{vimeo|worldoftomorrow|OD=yes|World of Tomorrow}} which should produce this result: World of Tomorrow on Vimeo ...which is a working link.

Thoughts? -Gohst (talk) 00:52, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
