Question[edit]

primefac - Can you please clarify your change here? Why would this template forward to Template: Women's Eredivisie teams? See Wikipedia:Changing_templates#Migrating_to_a_new_template which I followed. It's not clear what you mean by "that's not really how it works" in your edit summary.

The main league article is not called Women's Eredivisie in any way and using "Women's Eredivisie teams" as the template name is not intuitive when adding it to new league-related articles nor is it representative of what's in the template. Thanks for clarifying. Hmlarson (talk) 04:55, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If the two templates are identical (which they were, at the time of your T3) then you shouldn't be creating a new one and then deleting the old. What you probably should have done is just move {{Women's Eredivisie teams}} here if it's at a better name; I'm happy to do that. Primefac (talk) 19:51, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That works great- thanks primefac. Hmlarson (talk) 00:15, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
