Chelsea Basin "good yard"

[edit]

Was "Chelsea Basin good yard" a typo? I've changed it, not without some trepidation, to "Chelsea Basin goods yard". If I shouldn't have, sorry: please revert it and explain. Thanks and best wishes DisillusionedBitterAndKnackered (talk) 09:43, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

St Q & W Scrubs opening date

[edit]

RTD has 1871, elsewhere on web 1840 and 1844 are alleged, need investigation.--SilasW (talk) 15:06, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1871 according to London Railway Atlas by Joe Brown, Ian Allan 2009. It was moved a VERY short distance to the north in 1893, but I don't think it warrants a mention on this diagram! best, Sunil060902 (talk) 10:43, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

There are online mentions of the NLL from the south connecting to the WLL. Some "real" maps and satellite photos might show a link something like the following. Can it be confirmed or denied or given dates? Icons added to this fragment of the WLL template are blue for contrast:

NLL from s to WLL
Willesden Junction London Underground
Down < West Coast Main Line > Euston
North London Line to Richmond
Mitre Bridge Junction

I think it is resolved in the current route map. The NLL from the south connects to the track junction called Willesden Junction.--SilasW (talk) 15:00, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

collapsed

[edit]

Is there a way of inserting templates of this kind in a collapsed state? They're useful but can be cumbersome in some articles due to their size. I tried {{West London Line|collapsed=true}} but this didn't work. Cnbrb (talk) 16:27, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
