@Primefac: I have only just noticed this. Anyway, I have declined such changes more than once in the past, there are two main reasons: (1) it's been asked for by a single person with no indication that the WikiProject itself desires the change; (2) the change does not affect the set of valid class values. In this case, (2) does not apply because Template:WikiProject Afghanistan/class adds five classes (future, current, needed, book, redirect) that are not part of either the standard or extended set. However, (1) does apply because I see no related discussion at WT:WikiProject Afghanistan and nobody on this page is asking for the change to be made, other than CAPTAIN MEDUSA (talk·contribs). --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:40, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Paine Ellsworth: Sorry to trouble you again, but could you please change it to File:Afghanistan-Flagmap.svg? I just realized that since the text is the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith, covering part of the text could be seen as offensive. I'm not quite sure if this is the case, but I remember something about a sporting goods company getting in trouble for the way they put the Saudi flag on a soccer ball, because it has the Shahada on it. ― Tartan357Talk05:41, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
