Request for change

Hi, I this may not be protected but I'm using the template anyway to request expert help.

There was a decision at CFD June 11 to merge Category:Music by century to Category:Centuries in music. However, the former is populated by {{MusicInCentury}}, which calls this {{WorksInCenturyHeader}}.

Please can this be edited, adding an "if-exists" test, so that {{MusicInCentury}} will not put categories into Category:Music by century if that category does not exist? – Fayenatic London 13:04, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added two {{#ifexist}} functions to check the existence of the categories that would be added. If Category:Music by century is deleted it should no longer contain pages using this template.

Please do not use edit protected templates for pages you can edit yourself. To get help with a template you could ask at WP:VPT instead. SiBr₄ (talk) 15:08, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
