Format problems

[edit]

This screenshot shows the issue with decoupling legend colouring from the labels: File:World_map_indicating_continents_format_problem.png. I will fix this shortly. Frietjes (talk) 16:31, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lint error

[edit]

Sardanaphalus, Frietjes, Xenocide321, Plastikspork, WhatsUpWorld, TheFreeWorld, ShakespeareFan00: This template has a Bogus file options lint error in the 9 pages in which it is transcluded. See, for example, Earth. The bogus image option is a very long string:

<span style="font-size:105%;">The seven continents of Earth:</span> <div> { class=" multicol" role="presentation" style="border-collapse: collapse; padding: 0; border: 0; background:transparent; width:100%; " &#32; style="text-align: left; vertical-align: top; " <div class="plainlist"><ul><li><span style="margin:0; font-size:90%; white-space:nowrap;"><span class="legend-text" style="border:none; padding:1px .6em; background-color:#0c0; color:black; font-size:95%; line-height:1.25; text-align:center;">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;North America</span></li><li><span style="margin:0; font-size:90%; white-space:nowrap;"><span class="legend-text" style="border:none; padding:1px .6em; background-color:green; color:black; font-size:95%; line-height:1.25; text-align:center;">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;South America</span></li><li><span style="margin:0; font-size:90%; white-space:nowrap;"><span class="legend-text" style="border:none; padding:1px .6em; background-color:#0040ff; color:black; font-size:95%; line-height:1.25; text-align:center;">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;Antarctica</span></li></ul></div> &#32; style="text-align: left; vertical-align: top; " <div class="plainlist"><ul><li><span style="margin:0; font-size:90%; white-space:nowrap;"><span class="legend-text" style="border:none; padding:1px .6em; background-color:#c10000; color:black; font-size:95%; line-height:1.25; text-align:center;">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;Europe</span></li><li><span style="margin:0; font-size:90%; white-space:nowrap;"><span class="legend-text" style="border:none; padding:1px .6em; background-color:#fed52e; color:black; font-size:95%; line-height:1.25; text-align:center;">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;Africa</span></li></ul></div> &#32; style="text-align: left; vertical-align: top; " <div class="plainlist"><ul><li><span style="margin:0; font-size:90%; white-space:nowrap;"><span class="legend-text" style="border:none; padding:1px .6em; background-color:#f33e01; color:black; font-size:95%; line-height:1.25; text-align:center;">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;Asia</span></li><li><span style="margin:0; font-size:90%; white-space:nowrap;"><span class="legend-text" style="border:none; padding:1px .6em; background-color:#c04080; color:black; font-size:95%; line-height:1.25; text-align:center;">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;Australia</span></li></ul></div> <div class="plainlinks hlist navbar mini" style="float:right;"><ul><li class="nv-view"><abbr title="View this template">v</abbr></li><li class="nv-talk"><abbr title="Discuss this template">t</abbr></li><li class="nv-edit">title="Edit this template">e</abbr></li></ul></div> &#32;

and that string has a Fostered content lint error that goes away when the first of four occurrences of &#32; is removed. Removing the fostered content lint error also removes the bogus file options lint error. As far as I can tell, none of these &#32; are necessary, but they are artifacts of column markup. I have diagnosed it and I leave it to others to fix it. —Anomalocaris (talk) 19:55, 13 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
