Tropidurus guarani is a species of lizard in the family Tropiduridae.[2] The species is native to central South America.
Etymology
[edit]The specific name, guarani, refers to the Guarani language and culture of Paraguay.[3]
Geographic range
[edit]T. guarani is found in Paraguay[1][2] and Brazil.[2]
Habitat
[edit]The preferred natural habitat of T. guarani is rocky outcrops in dry forest.[1]
