True Talent judges and host for season one

True Talent was a singing talent show that was broadcast on TV3 in Sweden.[1] The first and only season of the show premiered on August 23, 2011 and ended on November 27, 2011. Judges were Danny Saucedo, Pernilla Andersson and Tommy Körberg.[2] The host for season one was Ola Selmén.[3] Sweden was the first country to broadcast the talent series True Talent.[4]

Rules of the competition

[edit]

The show aimed to identify the singer with the best voice and technique, focusing solely on vocal performance rather than appearance, gender, personal style, or age. During the competition, the audience, which was composed of individuals from three different generations, sat with their backs turned to the performers. Voting was conducted by this diverse jury group, with the requirement that a majority of jury members from each generation needed to support a contestant for them to advance in the competition.[5]
