Tu Tevha Tashi (transl. You, Then, Like that) is an Indian Marathi language drama television series which aired on Zee Marathi. It is directed by Mandar Devasthali and produced by Sandeep Jadhav under the banner of Ekasmai Creations. It premiered from 20 March 2022 by replacing Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla. It starred Swapnil Joshi and Shilpa Tulaskar in lead roles with Abhidnya Bhave and Suhas Joshi in supporting roles.[1]

Synopsis[edit]

Tu Tevha Tashi is the story of two independent individuals based in Pune who missed their chance at love. Saurabh Patwardhan (Swapnil Joshi) and Anamika Dixit (Shilpa Tulaskar) have a long history together as they were college friends. While Saurabh had one-sided feelings for Anamika, he never confessed to her. Anamika, on the other hand, had set goals for her future, and she managed to achieve them all in later life. After a long time, Saurabh and Anamika reunite with each other again in their mid-40s. Saurabh is currently a job-seeker, but still is very much in love with Anamika and they state that there is no perfect time for love. Will Anamika realise her feelings for Saurabh this time, or will they miss the chance again?

Plot[edit]

Saurabh Patwardhan (Swapnil Joshi) is actively searching for work, whereas Anamika Dixit (Shilpa Tulaskar) is a self-employed businesswoman who runs her own company. Saurabh resides in his old ancestral Wada along with his younger brother, Sachin (Abhishek Rahalkar); his sister-in-law, Pushpavalli (Abhidnya Bhave), also known as Valli; his maternal aunt, Kunda Ranade (Ujjwala Jog), also known as Maimavashi; and Valli's widowed father, Moropant Edake (Sunil Godbole), also known as Appa. On the other hand, Anamika has been separated from her psychotic husband, Akash Joshi (Ashok Samarth), and resides in a luxurious bungalow along with her daughter, Radha (Roomani Khare), and her elderly mother-in-law, Rama (Suhas Joshi). Valli and Appa are always taking money from Saurabh as Sachin is unemployed, while Radha is enamoured of her wealth.

The friendship that began in college reappears when Saurabh and Anamika are brought together again by their mutual friend, Chandu Chimane (Kiran Bhalerao). Although Saurabh has feelings for Anamika, he has pledged to his late parents that he would not marry unless Sachin has established himself financially. Valli disapproves of Saurabh and Anamika's marriage, because she believes that Anamika will take the possession of the Wada if she arrives to live there as the daughter-in-law. She plots to end the relationship between Saurabh and Anamika multiple times along with Anamika's heartless mother, Kaveri (Rama Nadgauda), with no success. Maimavashi loves Saurabh and Sachin like her own sons and wishes Saurabh to follow his heart and marry Anamika. However, things take an unexpected turn when Akash returns from the US with the decision to split Anamika up from Saurabh.
