Twenty-year comprehensive cooperation agreement between Iran and Russia is an upcoming political agreement expected to be finalized in late 2024.[1]

The deal's draft has been completed as of June 2024.[2] Russia and Iran are to establish military partnerships, AI cooperation, and a free trade agreement.[3][4][5]‌ Talks were temporarily frozen in May 2024.[6]
