UEFA Women's Euro 2029 bids
The bidding process for the UEFA Women's Euro 2029 will be the process by which the location for the 15th UEFA Women's Championship or commonly referred as UEFA Women's Euro 2029, will be selected.
Hosting requirements
[edit]UEFA announced on 22 July 2024 that member associations interested in hosting UEFA Women's Euro 2029 have until 24 September 2024 to declare their interest. Joint bids are permitted, provided that the bidding countries are geographically compact.[1]
The tournament will continue the format of the 2022 and 2025 editions, with a total of 31 matches taking place for a duration of up to 25 days, with 16 teams competing in the tournament.
The requirements for the stadiums are as follows (as of 22 July 2024):
- Minimum of 1 stadium with a gross seating capacity of at least 50,000 seats
- Minimum of 3 stadiums with a gross seating capacity of at least 30,000 seats
- Minimum of 4 stadiums with a gross seating capacity of 20,000 seats
- All proposed stadiums must have natural grass playing surfaces.

[edit]Three European national associations have so far expressed their interest in staging UEFA Women's Euro 2029.
Confirmed bids

After the two nations failed to receive the 2025 hosting rights with Finland and Norway, president of the Swedish federation, Fredrik Reinfeldt said they would look into potentially bidding in the future.[2] On 8 February, before the 2024 UEFA Congress in Paris, Denmark and Sweden expressed an interest in hosting the event.[3][4] The four Nordics planned to bid again, but after the evaluation report for 2025 stated the likelihood of winning would increase with only two co-hosts, Denmark and Sweden decided to pair up.[5][6] Norway was reportedly disappointed with their decision and wants to negotiate with them about joining the bid.[7][8] On 24 April 2024, Denmark and Sweden decided against bringing Norway into the bid.[9] On 23 July 2024, both nation reiterated their intention to bid.[10][11] However, after UEFA's requirements came out, problems regarding Denmark's stadiums aroused due to the lack of stadiums meeting capacity requirements.[12][13] To combat this issue, the Danish federation are negotiating with municipalities to construct a 20,000 capacity stadium.[14][15]

After failing to receive the 2025 hosting rights, on 26 July 2024 president of Polish federation Cezary Kulesza announced that Poland will bid once again to host the tournament in 2029.[16]
