The platform allows users to search for and advertise various types of real estate, including apartments, houses, land, commercial properties, and other types of real estate, both for sale and rent. In addition to listings, the portal offers users valuable insights into the real estate market, price trends, legal advice, and tips for property maintenance and decoration.

According to Gemius rankings, Nekretnine.rs is the most visited real estate portal in Serbia within its category.[1]

History

[edit]

Nekretnine.rs was founded in 2009 as part of the Ringier Serbia company, headquartered in Zurich, with the goal of digitizing and streamlining the real estate search and advertising process in Serbia. It quickly gained popularity due to its ease of use, a large number of listings, and trusted information. The current general manager is Jelena Drakilić Petrović.

Over 500 companies from Serbia and the region trust Nekretnine.rs to advertise their latest real estate offerings.

In addition to its wide range of high-quality real estate listings, Nekretnine.rs invests considerable effort in educating participants in the real estate market, including both sellers and buyers. As part of these efforts, the portal launched the Nekretnine.rs Magazine in 2011, which provides daily service information, and began organizing expert panels in 2022. These panels feature experts in construction and real estate transactions who offer advice based on their extensive experience on current topics.[2][3]

Awards

[edit]

In 2017, Nekretnine.rs was ranked among the top 10 websites as part of the prestigious TOP 50 – Best Online Things competition, as voted by the public. This recognition was achieved due to the platform’s consistent focus on quality, introduction of innovations, and its collaborations with partners and professionals in the real estate industry.[4]

Sportal.rs

[edit]

Sportal.rs is the most visited sports website in Serbia.

History

[edit]

Sportal.rs was founded in May 2022 as the successor to the former Blic Sport. Blic Sport was launched alongside the Blic portal in 1999, making it one of the first major Serbian internet portals. Blic Sport quickly established itself as the most visited sports section on the Serbian market and became a media partner of the Olympic Committee of Serbia and the Football Association of Serbia. In 2022, Ringier, an international media company headquartered in Switzerland, founded Ringier Sports Media Group (RSMG), a sports media vertical operating across eight European markets. Sportal.rs became one of the first new brands under RSMG ownership, inheriting the legacy of Blic Sport. Today, Sportal is the official media partner of the Football Association of Serbia, the Olympic Committee of Serbia, FK Crvena Zvezda, KK Crvena Zvezda, and the Volleyball Federation of Serbia. Additionally, it is a Premium Digital Partner of the EuroLeague Basketball.[1]

Predrag Mihailović served as Editor-in-Chief from 2022 to 2024 before becoming CEO of Sportal, while Vladimir Filipović, who was Executive Editor from 2022 to 2024, was appointed Editor-in-Chief in June 2024.

Sportal.rs is the first media outlet globally to create a documentary series about Novak Djokovic. The series, titled NOVAK – Untold Stories, consists of eight episodes[2] and has generated over 5 million views across various platforms. The series was cited by multiple Serbian and European media outlets.[3][4][5]

Sportal also produced a documentary on the success of the Serbian national basketball team at the 2023 World Cup in Manila, titled All for One, One for All. The film was broadcast on RTS 1 and is available on Sportal's platforms.[6] The documentary aired on RTS 1, the public broadcaster in Serbia, and garnered over a million views.

Sportal features a section on its website for live tracking of football and basketball matches via LiveScore, which also includes betting odds for games happening that day. LiveScore Group and Ringier have established a strategic partnership in the sports media and betting markets to accelerate the growth of both Sportal and LiveScore. LiveScore Group operates the brands LiveScore, LiveScore Bet, and Virgin Bet, all well-known in the sports and gaming industries. The group was spun off from Gamesys (now part of Bally’s Corporation) in September 2019 and is now part of Anzo Group of companies.

Readership

[edit]

Sportal.rs attracts an average of 1.5 million monthly visitors from Serbia. Including visitors from the diaspora, the total rises to around 3.5 million unique users. According to official Gemius research on traffic to Serbian internet portals, Sportal recorded 1,897,231 unique visitors from Serbia in December 2022, the highest number in the history of Serbian sports portals.

Awards

[edit]

Sportal’s photojournalist, Aleksandar Dimitrijević, was awarded in the "Portrait" category for his photograph of KK Partizan coach Željko Obradović.[7][8][9]
