User:魔琴/Korea misuse task force

In English, when we say Korea, we normally mean South Korea. This could be causing a problem.

On Sept 13, 2024, I found that {{Country data Korea}} was misused in different articles and wikis for South Korea, resulting in the old flag of Korea hanging over wrong places. Editors using {{flagicon}} or similar wiki markup would result in this issue.

A similar mistake is misusing File:Flag of Korea.svg as the flag of South Korea. And I wonder how many links to Korea were originally intended for the country established after World War II.

This task force is aimed at correcting the misuse and probably preventing such things from happening again.
