Candid Career Secondary School is an English medium secondary school located in Sirutar Bhaktapur. It was established in 1996 A.D. as Siru Shining School and later changed to Candid International School after 2005 A.D. Since then it has been providing quality education.

Background

Candid Career Secondary School is located in Sirutar, Bhaktapur, Nepal, and schools above 600 current students. Candid is uniformly maintained in all levels of teaching and learning under the same roof. The institution function form Pre-Primary to Lower-Secondary level (SEE) of education.

It was Established in the year 2053 B.S. (1996 AD) by Founder Principal Bishnu Chalise under name Siru Shining School and later changed its name to Candid International School in 2005 A.D. where Candid got Its new principal Dharma Pd Paudel. It later changed its name to Candid Career Secondary School in 2022 A.D. Since it’s establishment, it is a popular school in Sirutar. Candid Career Secondary School is one of the top school in the Municipality. The school has given quality education to build Career of many Students hence Earning the name “Candid Career Secondary School”.

Education

Candid Career Secondary School, an English Medium School established in 2053 B.S at Suryabinayak- 1, Sirutar, Bhaktapur has been driven ahead since the year 2066 B.S by a team of highly experienced and visionary academicians. The school deserves special commendation for its proven track records in achieving academic excellence. We reiterate our commitment to prepare our students as bona-fide and competent global citizens through quality education.

Curriculum

The primary curriculum includes these are: English and Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, Creative and Expressive Arts, Information and Communications Technology. Students go out of school to extend their knowledge and experience through educational field trips.

Pre Primary School:The School consists of Pre Primary School which ate mainly kindergarten, Lower Kindergarten (L.K.G) and Upper kindergarten (U.K.G) with experienced teachers and curriculum that is prioritized by Curriculum Development Centre which consists singing, dancing and learning with audio and visuals.

Primary School :The Primary School consists of classes 1 to 5. In addition to oral work, activities, games, practicals, excursions, etc., students are taught subjects like English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Studies, Moral Science, General Knowledge and Health Education. Co-curricular activities such as singing, dance and instrumental music are taught.

Lower Secondary School: The Lower Secondary School consists of classes 6 to 8. Besides English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Studies, Moral Science, General Knowledge, the students are introduced to advanced level Mathematics. Various Clubs such as social club, literature clubs, Enviroment club, Social Clubs are also formed from this level.

Secondary School: The Secondary School consists of classes 9 and 10. The Secondary Education Exam (S.E.E) curricular is followed in these classes. The students, however, take part in co-curricular activities and club activities. They are also introduced to a course in Advanced Level English.

In teaching, English a high priority is placed on all aspects. Extracurricular activites like Art, music, sports and drama rooms develop student's creativity and confidence. Each term during Curriculum Night parents is informed of their child's grade curriculum. Changes to the curriculum are made accordingly.

There is facility of Cafeteria with wide menus where students can eat with clean and hygenic food maintaining sanitation.

Transportation

There is facility of transportation as well in areas like : Balkot, Changathali, Biruwa and Lubhu.

Sports activities include, basketball, table tennis and other indoor games like chess and for sports like Football with facility of Futsal.

Field trips are arranged to nearby places. Students go to trips after their terminal examination to various nearby and far places for getting educational knowledge.
