Tutorial 1 Week 3

Task 1: From Scratch

The page titled ''Horror Fiction'' was written and published in 2001. Over the course of nearly 20 years, the page has grown from almost 100 words to a complex retelling of the history of Horror in fiction and the numerous societies and individuals that have come to proclaim the genre for its unique ability to enthral and inspire fear and dread, without actually inflicting physical harm.

If I was to do anything differently in the first publication, I would try to be a bit more neutral in my retelling of the History of Horror. It seems to me that the author makes grand statements in regards to various authors of Horror, without actual citing anything that could back-up what he/she was saying. The first significant edit I found added numerous links to external pages such as ''Horror Movie's" and "Horror Fiction Authors", whilst this allowed for a semi natural progression towards further reading into the topic, I felt that the page titled "Horror Fiction" and the page titled "Horror Fiction Authors" did not need to be seperate and instead could have seamlessly combined into a single page which would have been more engaging. Today, each author has a full written page regarding their various exploits, and the page titled "Horror Fiction Authors has now become an index of sorts to link to these pages.
