While in high school, wanted to be in student government but never won a position after 3 years of trying to win. 1988, ran a phone bank for THE REVEREND JESSE JACKSON for President in the South Central LA area of Los Angeles. Worked at the election poll as a inspector (1986-1993, 2005)making sure every voter got one ballot.

After being a dance DJ in the 9th, 10th & 11th grade on Friday. Majored in Radio Broadcasting in college at L.A.C.C. in 1971-72. On the air training at KTYM 103.9 FM in INGLEWOOD,CA.;after midnight in 1972-73. Hosted a radio show from Fall 1973 to Fall 1975 on KCRW in SANTA MONICA, CA. While on the radio I helped in the community as a park concert MC at the FESTIVAL IN BLACK sponsored by the LA PARKS & REC & the WATTS SUMMER FESTIVAL at Will Rogers Park on 103rd & Central Ave. in 1974-75. Plus did some DJ work at dances in hotels in WILSHIRE BLVD in BEVERLY HILLS & the WESTERN COUNTRY CLUB GOLF COURSE.

While working at the dress shop (1967-1973) did radio spots on KTYM plus did a few fashion shows at the PROUD BIRD & up in WEST HOLLYWOOD/BEVERLY HILLS area. Played music for a few fashion shows in the early 90's for the ushers at church.

Worked as a Accounting clerk for Mature Temps in 1976-78, 1979-1980. Payroll clerk for FREDERICK of Hollywood in 1978-79, Item Processing clerk at Republic National Bank of Dallas,TX. in 1980-1982. Worked for Metro Temps in 1983-1988 as a Accounting clerk in Beverly Hills, CA.

PERSONAL He had a son in July 1979 named Michael T Carter by ex-girlfriend Sharon Y Carter & he had a daughter in April 1983 named Valerie L Warren by ex-girlfriend Sheila A Warren. July 1997, he married for the first time to Bonita L Williams RNP.
