Kuisebmund is a location of Walvisbay[1], Namibia [2], named after the Kuiseb River [3]. Kuisebmund is a small neigborhood with a population of just over 40,000, most residents of Walvis Bay live in the area. During the apartheid era, the area was reserved for Black Namibians who worked in the Walvis Bay fish factories and until today it is still occupied by over 90% black people.

Sport[edit]

Kuisebmund is home to Namibias top sport personalities such as Johanna Benson [4] (athlete), Harry Simon [5] (boxer) and Erastus Gebhard [6] (cricket player). Kuisebmund Stadium [7], the home to Eleven Arrows [8] and Blue Waters [9] football clubs, is also located in the peaceful suburb of Kuisebmund.

Schools[edit]

Kuisebmund has 4 schools:

  • Kuisebmund Secondary School [10]
  • Immanuel Ruiters Primary School [11]
  • Tutaleni Primary School [12]
  • Duinesig Combined School [13]
  • !Nara Primary School [14]

Economy[edit]

Accommodation for visitors is not a problem as there are many guest houses and the neighborhood is increasing at a rapid speed towards Swakopmund [15]. There are a lot of business opportunities in Kuisebmund and investors are more than welcomed to invest there.
