Unedited Footage of a Bear is a surreal dark comedy short that originally aired as a special during Adult Swim's "infomercials" block on December 24, 2013 at 4 a.m. Eastern Time. It was written, created, and directed by Alan Resnick and Ben O'Brien, and produced by AB Video Solutions and Williams Street. The special begins with footage of a grizzly bear, which is interrupted by an advertisement for fictitious prescription allergy medication, Claridryl. The advertisement then takes a horrifying turn as the central actor is put against a murderous doppelgänger of herself. The special features an original score by Dan Deacon. The special aired received positive critical reception, with several critics comparing it to a previous special, Too Many Cooks.
