I am a biomedical engineering major at Marquette University (specifically biomechanical engineering - a subset of biomedical engineering that focuses on biocompatibility of materials with the human body and how various mechanical forces acting on a body affect changes in both the body itself and the medical device in contact with it). I have recently become much more interested in global health and pathology and hope to eventually attend medical school and be able to use the skills I acquire to serve as a world health advocate in pathology and epidemiology.

Currently, I am very involved in outreach and service and am currently in my fourth year as a member of Circle K International and hope one day to join the ranks of the Kiwanis. In the interest of pursuing my love of service, I have also applied to the Peace Corps and hope to hear back from the national recruiters soon.

I'm also a huge fan of food (especially breakfast foods).
