Majid Shafiq (born Bolton, 21 January 1973) is a British international business and sports consultant and public figure.

Majid is best known for leading the pioneering global business and sports consultancy known as Aspirations Consultancy & Enterprises Ltd, which he formed in 2013 after a 15 year career in senior management at some of the top FTSE 100 companies in the UK.

Majid initially achieved success in the international business & sports industry, founding aspirations consultancy & enterprises Ltd in 2010, which he has lead since incorporation in 2014. In 2015, he started as lead consultant and took on his first global projects that included the history making success of a Professional Football Club in Pakistan, Karachi Electric. He pioneered continental success for the club in the continental AFC Cup by developing an innovative project to transform Pakistan Professional Football. This project gained international plaudits and gave a huge sporting nation towards football.

Previously, Majid had lead ground breaking projects in England that included the introduction of Professional Academy Football in league clubs after forming the biggest National League Club Academy & Education Programme at Stalybridge Celtic. His approach became the blue print across the UK as professional football academies started to arise at most non league football clubs. His work with large further education providers likeKirklees College also formed the blueprint for further education colleges across the United Kingdon in the formation of 16-19 Elite College Sports Academies in multiple sports.

Shafiq has been involved in ground breaking projects including the reformation of national sports governing bodies, corporate social responsibility projects to provide learning and skills, professional sports leagues formation using a phased franchise model and developing elite sports performers to progress their careers strategy and guidance.

Shafiq has used extensive experience that amounts to over 15 years with multiple international retail companies in a senior capacity to work on global projects that include plastic waste recycling, Digital Marketing Strategy, Global Import & Export, Leadership Strategy & Development, and delivering Education Programme, transformation across continents. He has developed an affinity for the creation of a circular economy after his global dealings for many years and is working as a lead consultant specialist on projects with some of the most innovative and expanding plastic recycling organisations in Europe, UK and Asia too.
