About Me[edit]
Hello, I am a new editor, I am interested in editing articles about art and feminism. I am a researcher based in Los Angeles with a Master's Degree in American History. I aim to contribute accurate and useful information about African American history, art, artists, visual culture.
Conflict of Interest Statement[edit]
I, AAHistories1, am an employee of the Getty Research Institute, a cultural institution per WP:GLAM that is dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding of American History.
I follow editing guidelines specified at WP:GLAM. When editing articles, I try to refer researches to related primary sources in library and archives. I do occasionally insert links to archival resources held by the Getty Research Institute, my employer, only when they are pertinent to a topic.
My intent is to make edits that are beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia. If my edits are deemed not beneficial, I will modify my edits based on problems cited by other editors or if my edits conflict with Wikipedia guidelines. I welcome editors to contact me, via my user talk page, if I appear to be going against Wikipedia etiquette or editorial guide.
