Mission

[edit]

I read a lot of random articles and sometimes find things that I find problematic re: spelling, grammar, phrasing, and use of jargon. I can't provide factual information on the topics because they're completely new to me, but I can help make them more readable to others looking for the same information I am. My goal is to help out on Wikipedia by looking for confusing statements and pointing them out in hopes other editors who are more knowledgeable on the topic can take a second look and improve the article.

Sometimes it takes a layman's perspective on these things to help sort out what is common knowledge and what isn't. It's easy for someone knowledgeable on a subject to slip into using jargon and phrasing that people outside of the circle won't understand; I want to help solve this problem.
