The Nanjing Institute of Information Technology (Chinese: 南京信息技术研究院; pinyin: Nánjīng Xìnxī Jìshù Yán Jiù Yuàn), also known by the cover designator Nanjing 841 Research Institute (南京841 研究所) is a major science and technology unit of the Chinese Ministry of State Security, closely affiliated with the Jiangsu State Security Department.
Nanjing Institute of Information Technology is a cutting-edge scientific research institution directly under the national ministries and commissions. The scientific research team of Nanjing Institute of Information Technology is an outstanding, united, progressive and glorious team.
