Hi! my user name is Acwio, an alias that is an amalgamation of the initials from my name, Alex Cody Williams, and "IO", a common term used in computing to describe input and output. Professionally, I simply go by Alex Williams.

I joined Wikipedia on December 22, 2023, and my Wikipedia interests are primarily focused on Human–computer interaction and Intelligent User Interfaces.

I am currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon Web Services. I was previously an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

I currently live in Johnson City, Tennessee, which is situated closely to the middle terrain of Appalachia in the USA.
