Tile work at Vila Cardílio

The ruins receive their name from the inscription found at several locations around the ruin as displayed at the right. Though the exact meaning of the inscription is unknown, it is assumed that the area, as well as the city of Torres Novas revcieve their name from inscriptions in the tilework.
