Adam Filas, OMI (born December 23, 1962 in Rabka Zdroj), is a Polish Roman Catholic Religious Priest, member of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Assumption Province. He is currently the Pastor of Eugene de Mazenod Parish in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. In 1990 he became a missionary among the people in the far North of Canada.

[Edit] Overview Born in the Polish town Rabka Zdroj, Filas belonged to the same parish as Stanislaw Cardinal Dziwisz of Krakow, Wyzna. He studied in Oblate seminary and after successful completion of philosophical and theological studies was ordained a priest on June 19, 1990 for the missions in the world served by Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He is known as a first polish missionary among the Inuit in the far North of Canada serving northern missions for 6 years. He has been a pastor since December 1993 serving St Patrick's, St. Thomas's, St. Philips's and St. Leo's parishes in Saskatchewan. In 1996 Filas became a pastor of St. Maksymilian Kolbe Polish Parish in Mississauga, the larges Polish Parish in North America. Now he is involved in building the millennium Church of the Polish people living in Canada.
