A Decade Late (often stylised as ADL) is a UK Alternative Rock band formed in Yeovil, Somerset in 2015. Since 2016 the lineup has consisted of Guitarist and Vocalist, Steve McMullen, Bassist and Vocalist, Jakub Wieńć and Drummer, Karl Appleby. Founded by McMullen, Wieńć (guitar), Appleby and original bassist Rich Glentworth, the band emerged from the Yeovil music scene of 2015 and first gained recognition for a high-energy live show and win at a local battle of the bands contest at their first live show.

In the formative year, the band toured heavily across the west country on the back of their debut EP, playing crowd favourites, Dead Town and Me and You (later re-recorded). Glentworth took a short hiatus from the band in mid 2015, with James Neal picking up bass duties. Glentworth returned to the lineup for a few shows later in the year before leaving the band permanently. The band continued to press on with shows, notably playing on a bill with Billy Lunn (The Subways). James Herron took the role of bassist and Vocalist at the end of 2015 into the early part of 2016. The band began recording for the EP Transmission overload. Before the Ep could be finished the band went on hiatus and Herron permanently left the band on the eve of a Pilton Party audition.

In mid 2016 the band reformed as a 3 piece with Wieńć moving to bass and vocals. The band worked with Ben Croft at Amped recording studios to finish Transmission Overload.
